Fishing Charts
For those new to the inshore and offshore fishing spots our region fishing charts
are a valuable asset in your boat. There are satellite photograph charts of
Charlotte and Lee County harbors and backwaters that clearly show the reefs
and bars that yield good fishing. A satellite chart of Charlotte Harbors Bull
and Turtle Bay are featured below.
N.O.A.A. Charts overlaid with numbered fishing spots complete with Longitude and Latitude produced by Waterproof Charts Inc. located on the south side of US 41 in Punta Gorda are available directly from the company or you can purchase them at West Marine or Boat US stores. For those with charts or fishing spots that show the Longitude and Latitude coordinates in degrees, minutes and seconds below is a chart converting seconds to a decimal point of minute.
