Maintenance Tip - Rechargeable Batteries

When your rechargeable electronic batteries finally quit the cost of replacing them with the batteries from the appliance manufacturer or their dealers is expensive.  In most cases for small electronic equipment, the model had changed and replacement batteries for your equipment were not available or the device is no longer available from the manufacturer.  As we, all know replacement rechargeable batteries from the manufacturer or their authorized dealers are expensive and for a few dollars more, you could replace the device.

Many of the older electronic appliances rechargeable batteries are NiCd technology with limited recharging capability and are prone to memory set if you do not fully discharge the battery before you recharge it.
